Alex Blazhevskyiy

Alex is senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist with over 18 years experience in private practice. Alex has worked with top New Zealand sports teams including his involvement with the kiwi teams as part of the Oceania Football Confederation and FIFA Club World Cup.

However, Alex's real passion has become helping people over 40 recover from their injuries and get back on-track. He has vast experience in successfully treating people over the age of 40... whether it be a minor sprain, or a major injury.

Alex's passion and experience in human anatomy is vast and and as a result his guidance and expertise contributes to a training programme far superior to anything else in the area.

Alex recognises that the over 40's demographic is particularly poorly looked after in terms of fitness and  has made it his objective to change this situation around.

I'm Gavyn, and I've been working in the fitness industry for the last 8 years. I'd gone through some surgeries myself and saw how badly looked after people were when they'd experienced an injury.

That wasn't my idea of what health should be like. I started by reverse-engineering the level of care I wish I'd been shown. It was tough because there weren't many examples I could use out there, but by continually coming back to the idea of "how would I want to be treated?" I was able to design something that worked.

I love to see how surprised people are at how easily we can make the programme fit into their lives.

I have extensive experience in training older adults from 40 up to 85 years old. My approach to training is to help my clients not only lose weight, but to move functionally despite having injuries. The result is to feel younger and feel amazing.
